By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimer. If you do not agree with these terms, kindly refrain from using these services.

1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the SARAL platform ("Platform") Operated by North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • Entrepreneur/User – Individual or entity registering to assess business compliance requirements.
  • Partner/Expert/Service Provider – Individual or entity offering licensing or compliance-related services.
  • Compliance Tracker – A feature that provides suggested licenses based on questionnaire responses.
  • Licenses – Platform facilitation licenses connecting Entrepreneurs and Partners.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal capacity to contract
  • Provide accurate and complete registration details

The Platform is intended for users within India.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

  • Users must register using a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate information in the questionnaire.
  • False information may result in suspension or termination.

5. QUESTIONNAIRE & COMPLIANCE TRACKER

  • The Compliance Tracker provides recommendations based on answers submitted.
  • The Platform does not guarantee completeness or legal accuracy.
  • Users are responsible for verifying legal obligations independently.

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete questionnaire responses
  • Changes in government laws or regulations
  • Licensing authority decisions

6. LICENSE UPLOADS

Entrepreneurs may upload licenses to the Platform.

By uploading documents:

  • You confirm they are genuine and lawfully obtained.
  • You grant the SARAL portal a limited right to store and process them for compliance tracking.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Authenticity verification
  • Government validation of uploaded licenses

7. PARTNER SERVICES

Partners may:

  • Register through email address
  • Specify licenses or expertise
  • Specify the locations of the services
  • Connect with Entrepreneurs

The Platform:

  • Does not guarantee Partner performance
  • Does not endorse any Partner
  • Is not liable for service outcomes

8. PAYMENTS

No payment transactions will be part of the SARAL portal.

9. RATINGS & REVIEWS

Entrepreneurs may provide ratings and reviews of Partners.

You agree:

  • Reviews must be honest and not defamatory.

10. NOTIFICATIONS & ALERTS

The Platform may send:

  • Compliance reminders
  • License expiry alerts
  • Regulatory updates

Notifications are informational only and not legal advice.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, including:

  • All license information
  • Licenses Templates
  • Compliance tracker logic

Is owned by SARAL portal

Users may not:

  • Copy
  • Reverse engineer
  • Reproduce
  • Distribute

Without written permission.

12. DATA & CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • We implement reasonable security practices as required under Indian law.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The SARAL portal shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits
  • Business losses
  • Regulatory penalties
  • Partner misconduct
  • License rejection by authorities

14. DISCLAIMER

  • The Platform does not provide legal advice.
  • Compliance recommendations are automated suggestions based on user inputs.
  • Users are encouraged to consult qualified professionals.

15. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • False information is provided
  • Terms are violated
  • Fraud or misuse is detected

16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
